About Us & How the Referral Works

How it works

1. You send one short form with your ZIP code, what you need, and details about the material and project.
2. We review it by hand and pass it to one independent professional who serves your area: a DEQ-licensed abatement contractor with a current CCB license, or an accredited inspector, depending on your request.
3. The professional contacts you by email or phone, and any estimate, scheduling and contract come from them.
4. You decide. There's no obligation, and you can always get other estimates.

If no participating professional covers your address, we'll tell you and point you to DEQ's contractor and inspector lists.

How we make money

Participating professionals may pay us a flat advertising fee. It doesn't depend on whether you hire them or on the price of any job, and you pay us nothing.

What we don't do

• We don't remove, test, sample, encapsulate or dispose of asbestos, and we don't bid on, schedule, supervise or arrange any construction work.
• We don't hold a CCB or DEQ license, because we don't do that work. Licensed professionals do.
• We don't have a Salem office, and we don't claim to be a local company.
• We don't publish reviews, ratings or testimonials, and we don't vouch for any professional's work. Check them yourself on the CCB license search and DEQ's lists.
• We don't give legal, medical or environmental-consulting advice.

Why the site exists

Oregon's asbestos rules are detailed, and many Salem-area homes were built before 2004. This site gathers DEQ, EPA and CCB guidance in one place and gives you a simple way to reach a licensed professional if you want one.
